Marble Mover:

I am starting my marble mover with an incline plane. I used the binding we used for our log books to make it. To insure that the marble wouldn't fly out, I hot glued a piece of poster board to the side of the binding. I then glued the side with the poster board to my 18 inch base.

The next step is to make a funnel. I used heavy duty paper and cut a big enough hole in it for the marble. Then, I glued it to the poster board side and realized that it needed more stability. I used a small piece of poster board and glued it to the other side of the funnel. My poster board base wasn't as stable as I wanted it to be so I added a small piece of poster board to the bottom and reaching up to the side. I am planning to add much more and make my marble mover even more creative.

Final product:

With Mara's beautiful design, i'm very happy with the outcome of my marble mover. I like how it is not boring and has some color with the different sheets of paper. I added many ramps and tried to make it as slow as possible.  Although I had my struggles, it was definently a learning experience.

I had lots of fun with this project and watching it come together. I had to be very creative and had to use my building skills.

In conclusion, the marble mover project was very fun. Mara, Madelyn, and I had a fun time listening to christmas music :)
