Abagail Nooney
About me
My name is Abagail Nooney and I am currently a freshman at Red Bank Regional High School. I have enjoyed my couple weeks so far far and I cant wait for the years to come. I have a sister named Olivia who attends Iona College in New Rochelle, Ny. Since she is fairly close, I have already visited her for a weekend. I am excited for more trips to see her and to meet up in the city. NYC is my favorite place to go for a day trip and I would love to live there on day. I have recently moved from Shrewsbury to Red Bank and have a fun time getting to know the time. i am very close to where I used to live so I always meet up with my friends and show them places around Red Bank.
Prototype Design
I am in Mr. Grillo's prototype design class. When deciding what elective I wanted to take to start of the year, I wanted to get out of my comfort zone. I remember my sister telling me about prototype about how she made a bird house and had other fun projects. I wanted to try something new and am glad that I decided to take part in this elective.
However, this year prototype is a little different as we don't have the same access to many of the same materials of past years. We don't have use the same tools so Mr.Grillo had to improvise. We use poster board, xacto- knives, and hot glue guns. Although we don't have many of the same tools, we are still learning important skills and are learning a lot.
Prototype Design has been very fun so far and I have been practicing my building skills. My friends Mara and Madelyn make the class even more enjoyable. We always have a fun time and I can't wait to start many more fun projects.
